I humbly share my passion for Budokon Yoga Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00pm to 7:pm at Budokon Miami in Miami Shores. If you would like to join us for practice, simply stop by! Budokon has enabled me to combine my passions for Martial Arts and Yoga in one sustainable, compassionate, non-violent, non-competitive practice, which has elevated my skills and character.I grew up doing martial Arts: Wing Chun Kung Fu with Taylor Masci, Capoeira with Mestre Doutor (ASCAB Capoeira, Philadelphia), Brazilian Jiujitsu with Jared Weiner (BJJ United, Philadelphia) and Krav Maga with the crew at Salem Self Defense Center, in New Hampshire. I was introduced to Yoga by Simon Park, also in Philadelphia, who asked me to assist his class and train Capoeria with him. Even though I only attended a few weeks of classes it triggered something in my mind, so when I moved to Miami, I decided to concentrate in Yoga. I studied Yoga with some of the best in Miami: Vinyasa with Gradiva Ciani, Power Yoga with Joey Corona and Ashtanga and Budokon with Steven Herbst (Atomic Yoga). My first phase of Budokon training was with Sensei Steve, who taught me the red belt curriculum until I tested out with Kancho Cameron Shayne, in LA. After that I started assisting Kancho in Blue Belt Teacher Trainings until I obtained my Blue belt. After that I continued to travel with Kancho, bringing our beautiful art to practitioners worldwide.Currently, I am the Director for Budokon Miami and Latin America and hold the highest ranking available in our system to date, Brown Belt.
